Shades of Grey is an old school Rock Band. Together they have almost 100 years of combined perfomance experience, most of which they can't remember.
Based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Shades of Grey are performing and enjoying playing together after two chance meetings.
The band members all have their own musical influences from 60s rock and roll, blues, Australian rock, and some slightly obscure bands. They have put together an eclectic mix of songs that will bring back great memories of going out to see live bands in the old days.
An Icon in the band, or did we use him as our band icon??? Ed is the man who sits behind the musicians.
Ed is the drummer and singer in the band.
Mike has played in bands with Eddy on and off for close on 50 years ....
The "odd couple" reached a compromise over music, when joining up with Craig and Simon, as Mike prefers to play Texas Blues .... well, someone has to like it!
The only musician in the band is Simon.
He plays the lead guitar and lets us know what we are doing wrong.
Never having aspirations as a singer standing, near a microphone has had consequences for Craig, as he has to use it on many occasions.
Craig is much younger than everyone else...
